My goal in our coaching sessions is teaching you what I know and guiding you towards habits that will support your goals.
I use habit stacking to help you gradually implement healthy practices until they become routine.
During our initial consultation we will discuss your background, current and desired lifestyle, and more to create a personalized action plan.
Your personalized plan will be our roadmap for your coaching sessions. I take a step-by-step approach to ensure these new health habits stick. After our initial session, I’ll recommend a number of follow-up sessions.
During our coaching sessions we will discuss habits and implement strategies that align with your goals. Each client is different so the number of follow-up sessions will be based on your progress and individual needs.

30-minute sessions to implement strategies & hold you accountable to your goals
I became a dietitian because I love food and people. As a registered dietitian, I want to help you build lifelong habits that support your wellness goals. You deserve to be supported without being guilted or shamed. If you're ready to kick the fads and get lasting results, let's chat!
Use the buttons to explore the differences between a registered dietitian and other types of health professionals.
A 'health coach' is similar to 'nutritionist.' It is just a title that anyone can use to describe their services. It does not require any education in the field. However, there are courses and certifications someone can take towards becoming a health coach, like the popular course offered by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). These courses are usually only a few hundred dollars.
'Nutritionist' is not a protected title and it does not require any education to use the title. Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist just as they can with health coach. There is no guarantee what you get when you work with a nutritionist.
Tracking apps and online tools are better than they have ever been - yet they still don't meet the mark. Apps don't account for real life, and often bring guilt when you don't log or don't meet your goals. They are simply not sustainable.
Trainers don't learn much at all about nutrition and dietitians don't learn a ton about training. Dietitians legally are not allowed to give training plans and advice and trainers are not to give nutrition plans. We stay in our separate lanes.
What I liked about Lindsey was that she was practical and easy to talk to. She came up with a lifestyle plan that fit me. Lindsey gave me ideas on how to eat when I travel for business, how to look at a restaurant menu for healthy choices, and how to read nutrition labels. I’m always learning from Lindsey.
After implementing some of the changes that Lindsey suggested, I lost 11 pounds in a month. Lindsey has always been very encouraging, kind, and respectful. I highly recommend Lindsey to anyone who is feeling stuck and not quite sure where to start in their journey of losing weight, eating healthier, or just being healthier in general.
All coaching sessions are self-pay. However, I provide a superbill with your invoice which can be submitted to your insurance provider.
We can play that by ear! My goal is NOT to see you as a client forever. I want to give you the tools to be successful on your own. Clients with 1 specific goal may only see me for a few sessions. Clients with larger weight loss goals plus other goals like lowering cholesterol and blood pressure may need to see me for longer.
Absolutely! If you come for RD services for, let's say high cholesterol, we can work on that for as long as you need. Maybe 6 months later you get pregnant! We can absolutely switch focuses while keeping cholesterol management on simmer on the back burner.
I LOVE when clients come back to see me for various reasons. I like to think that once I am your dietitian, I am always your dietitian.
